Most people will want to play as Zero, since he could hardly be played on X3. We find a new one in X5, but he doesn't even show up. How many times is this virus going to survive his encounters with the Hunters? I really think that the X series needs a new antagonist. We have a child in robotic armor who has not hit puberty yet. First, before I mention anything else, X is not a sissy boy, yet his voice screams out "sissy".
Mega Man X3 kind of dropped the X series because of its frustration with the capsules, but it is nowhere near a drop X4 has taken us. Playing through every game in order really gives a sense of a nice plot, nice continuation. Mega Man X is no doubtedly one of the best platform gaming series ever designed for any (and all) console(s).
